Tomas Sauter
Began playing guitar at the age of 10.
Studied at the Lucerne Jazz School 1994-98
Teaching from 1998 at the "Jazz Pop Rock" department of the Biel Conservatory
2002-03 Master of Music studies at Purchase College, New York, USA
Studied with John Abercrombie, Hal Galper
From 2004 lecturer for jazz guitar and ensemble at the HKB Jazz Department, Bern University of the Arts
Awards:
Diploma "with distinction" at the Lucerne Jazz School,
Advancement award at the International Jazz Meeting "Generations 98" in Frauenfeld"
Radio Swiss National Award for CD production "Out Goes The Rat"
