Info for Water Shapes
The eight pieces of the debut album of Subconscious Trio, “Water Shapes”, are written and arranged by the three musicians.
“Water Shapes” is inspired by the multitude of facets and shifts in one’s personality. Intuitive contemplation; energetic extroversion and gentle moments of solitude; wildness and flexibility – just like water’s many facets. The trio’s music is a colorful combination of various influences. They always search for balance: from traditional to more contemporary approaches; from art pop music nuances, to the eastern musical heritage – Bulgarian, Taiwanese, Carnatic and Italian traditional music, an object of exploration in the musical odysseys of all three musicians.
Monique Chao, piano, vocals
Victoria Kirilova, upright bass
Francesca Remigi, drums
