Info for Leisure Forever

After Leonizer Records released her two previous EPs "When It Reigns" and "Sold Me Out" last September, Berlin-based Australian musician Rodeo is back and goes deeper in her pop path with this new EP Leisure Forever. Released on December 3rd, this two-tracks record carries a stronger dance appeal with catchy synth melodies and pumped up electronic beats. "Home Run" is the summer jam you know your heatwave have been missing all along and "On The Road" featuring Black Cracker, with its hypnotic crawling beat and damp synths is oozing sin and lust.

Enhancing the club orientation of this new EP, a team of 7 international remixers have worked to offer a surprising experience, carrying you through tropical beats to drone, from the high tops of pop to abyssal caves of eeriness.

German-French duo Delect is the new club oriented project of Leonard de Leonard and Chris de Luca (ex-Funkstorung). High end elegant house is what they usually play with, but On The Road's bpm tickled their love for moombahton bringing its percussions and two-step pulse into a dramatic and dark yet sweaty tune.

JD Samson should not be introduced. If you don't know her, ask yourself where you were in the past decade. But since we are nice people, we're still going to give you a hand. Member of feminist electro punk band Le Tigre, Peaches' live band Herms and more recently the indie dance project MEN. Straight from Brooklyn, NY, she turned Rodeo's On the road into a zombie haunted house party track

French producer D.L.i.d started his career with the duo Electroluxe Family but started of as a solo artist with the remixes for Phoenix, Pony Pony Run Run and Fink. At ease in his moody and melancholic signature atmosphere, he took a step off his beaten path to come up with a catchy remix focused on deconstructing-rebuilding Rodeo's vocals.

NYC native, Berlin based Black Cracker is a rapper like you'll never meet. After collaborating with Cocorosie, Bunny Rabbit and the jazz trio Grand Pianoramax, he grew as an artist to write, produce and mix is own hip hop music against the grain of cliché gangsta rap but with poetic immediacy and edge. Featuring on Rodeo's "On The Road" original track, he remixed it into a wavy eerie trip. He is also to be thanked for directing and editing the music video for "Home Run".

Berlin based Tusk is a dance floor renegade who created a parallel universe at the cross roads of synth wave and sci fi disco rave. Band mate of Rodeo on their project Mystic Knights, he spaced up "Home Run" with out-of-this-world laser synths, turning it to an even poppier piece than one could imagine.

Mirko Vogel is an Australian drummer, producer and sound engineer who multiplies the projects like Jesus did with bread. Back in Brisbane we was a member of Sekiden and produced/recorded the last LP of Rodeo's Australian based band I Heart Hiroshima. He brings to Leisure Forever, the droniest of drone take on Rodeo's song Kryptonite from the When It Reigns EP.

French duo Tuff Wheelz (SevenFive & Leroy Washington) have been producing House music for quite a while now, with tracks released on The Dead Speaker Office and supported by a bunch of people from XLR8R to Sound Pellegrino. Remixers of Florence + The Machine and Armand Van Helden, they bring to this release their signature house sound with a twist on the vocals.
