Nora von Marschall
has been a harpist at the National Theater Mannheim and a lecturer at the Würzburg University of Music since 2018.
After years of studying at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf, she began her bachelor's degree with Prof. Gisele Herbet at the Würzburg University of Music in 2010. In 2013 she continued her studies with Marie Pierre Langlamet at the Berlin University of the Arts, before returning to Würzburg to study in Prof. Andreas Mildner's master class.
Nora von Marschall can look back on numerous competition successes as well as special and sponsorship prizes, including the scholarship from the "Friends and Supporters of Young Artists Meerbusch", the "Hans and Eugenia Jütting Foundation" and the "German Academic Scholarship Foundation". In 2016 she made it to the semifinals of the ARD international music competition.
From 2014 to 2017 she was an academic of the WDR Symphony Orchestra, which she supported in numerous concert and CD productions.
Guest engagements have taken her to orchestras such as the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, the Hessian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic.
During her orchestral career she has performed in concert halls across Europe under the direction of renowned conductors such as Krill Petrenko, Andris Nelsons and Sir Colin Davis.
