Following her first album in this series of the same name, Min-Jung Kym brings a new instalment of works inspired by works to help overcome cancer. Joined by cellist Robin Michael on two of the tracks, the repertoire ranges from Beethoven, to Satie, to Einaudi to Queen.

Min-Jung Kym
has firmly established herself as an artist of immense diversity bringing fresh quality and musicianship to her performances.

She engages audiences worldwide through performances with leading orchestras and collaborations with eminent musicians. She is also deeply dedicated to promoting music education and making music accessible for all and is regularly invited to give masterclasses and conferences on these topics.

A Signum Classics artist, she has released several albums, including a critically acclaimed interpretation of Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4, with the Philharmonia Orchestra, and in 2022, a live album for La Fondation de France “Solidarité Ukraine” Fund.

As a Steinway Artist, Min-Jung has successfully explored the intersection of music, innovation, and technology, particularly through her work with the Spirio piano, earning accolades from major corporations and educational institutions alike.

Her book “Music to Help Overcome Cancer” (Hermann Editions) accompanied by the album “Sounds for the Soul” reveals her personal journey with cancer and the pivotal role music played in the healing process. She has become a key advocate in the field of music therapy discussions and serves as an inspirational presence across various social platforms.

Her continuous commitment to highlighting the therapeutic and inspirational power of music is further illustrated with the ‘Harmonies and Healing’ initiative. This endeavour is a joint collaboration with the Brahms Billroth Foundation (Germany) and is supported by Steinway & Sons.

In sharing her experiences, Min-Jung is an influential voice in music therapy discussions and a motivational figure on social media platforms.
