THE REAL THING marks the debut of Soul Collective, a group dedicated to honoring and preserving the sound and spirit of 1970s Soul, R&B, Funk, and Jazz - a spirit embodied by the legendary artists and composers who created the immortal sounds of Motown, Stax, Philly Soul, Soul Jazz, and so much more. The members of Soul Collective have been playing the music of this era for upwards of 50 years. They are real singers, real musicians, and real writers, who have spent decades honing their craft.
