Info for Blossom
The german band ANA MAI, debut-album BLOSSOM creates an atmospherical indie jazz between melancholy and euphoria. It sketches colorful the frivolous as well as the important incidents of life.
The music shows Anna Marias’ passion for contemporary jazz, classical music and alternative pop without committing herself to one specific style.
Lyrical themes are connected with animated instrumental jazz. Open sound-fields are contrasting with impulsive rhythms. The music is deep and sensual. It is touching from the first moment on.
Together they create an ensemble jazz of a rich palette: dynamic, unvarnished and sophisticated
