Info for Profumi di Napoli. Canzoni and Guitar Pieces
Venetian baritone Daniel di Prinzio and guitarist Ihor Kordiuk present a very special program - Profumi di Napoli. It consists of a selection of typical and traditional Neapolitan songs, so-called canzoni, which are cleverly interwoven here with Mauro Giuliani's cycle Choix de mes fleurs cheries (Selection of my favorite flowers) Op.46 for solo guitar.
Such a compilation is unique: the southern Italian canzoni with guitar accompaniment unfold a much more intimate atmosphere compared to other arrangements and allow the listener to immerse themselves even more directly in the atmosphere of the city's small Neapolitan squares.
