Info for Every Where Is Some Where

K.Flay rarely comes out with any music that I don’t like. In fact, for the past few years, her EPs have been at the top of my year-end “best-of”s and for good reason. She raps like a champ, has some of the most revealing and connectable lyrics, and boy howdy can you dance to it. Believe me, I would know, as her live shows got me shaking my body like a tree in a hurricane.

Recently, she has come out with two real bangers, Black Wave and High Enough, which are exemplary of her style, of her passion, and of her amazing talent. They speak of someone who is learning from mistakes, but definitely not happy with how they’ve been handled before. “Living under bad days, Shaking in my own cave, What do I believe? Stumbling down the street, I swear to god you don’t want to test me.” Beautiful, strong, and oh so catchy, you definitely want to check her out.

K.Flay
Born in June 30, 1985, K.flay or legally known as Kristine Meredith Flaherty, was born from Illinois. She attended Stanford University having degrees in sociology and psychology. Her interest in music sparked after she had a conversation with a friend about modern rap. She then made it a conviction to create her own music. She then started writing songs and released her first mix tape back in 2004.

She is known for “Eyes Shut” and “What If It Is.” Some of her singles are “The Cops,” “We Hate Everyone,” and “Can’t Sleep.” Her debut album reached the Top 50, and is entitled “Life as a Dog.” She also made a collaborating performance with Danny Brown for the song “Hail Mary.”
