Jung-A Lee
has performed in Europe, North America, and Asia as organist, pianist and conductor. She currently serves as organist at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach. In addition, she teaches at Biola University and Vanguard University. Lee is also the Artist-in-Residence for Pacific Chorale which is directed by Maestros John Alexander and Robert Istad. In 2009 she founded Music Mission International in order to promote organ music.
In the United States Lee performed at the Cadet Chapel at US Military Academy in West Point, New York, The Memorial Church and Rudolph Busch Hall at Harvard University and Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
Lee can be heard as organist on Rorem: Works for Choir and Organ/Harvard University Choir CD on Black Box label. Her first DVD of Music Mission International, “Beauty in the Wind,” was released in 2010. Several pieces from the DVD were broadcast on the radio program, “Pipedreams.” She was also featured at KUSC, 91.5 FM, South Carolina ETV and Kookdong Korean Christian Radio. Most recently, her CD, “Amazing Grace,” was released, which was recorded at Walt Disney Concert Hall on the organ was built by Rosales/Glatter-Götz.
She completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance from Boston University, and earned her Master of Music from Yale University with a full scholarship.
