Trio Shaham Erez Wallfisch
as founded in 2009 and comprises three of the finest international instrumentalists performing today.
Since its formation, the Trio has been invited numerous times to prestigious chamber music series at venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Rotterdam De Doellen, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie. The trio often appears in Spain, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Israel and Canada. This outstanding trio has been invited by the Wigmore hall to present the complete Beethoven piano trios in 2020, the composer’s 250th anniversary.
The Shaham Erez Wallfisch trio has an exclusive contract with Nimbus Record. Releases to date include Mendelssohn trios, Ravel Debussy and Faure, Arenski, Shostakovich and Rachmaninov, 2 cds album of Brahms trios and Double concerto and Dvorak, Schumann and Grieg trios. The eagerly awaited complete Beethoven trio cycle will be released on Nimbus in November 2024!

Our commitment to being distinctive drives us to push creative boundaries, offering performances that are both innovative and unique.
Founded in 1995 and based at the Warwick Schools Foundation (WSF), we work in close partnership with the WSF, The Courtyard Hereford, Drapers’ Hall Coventry, Stratford Play House and Number 8, Pershore alongside music education hubs, the Armed Forces, Coventry University and the Birmingham Conservatoire.
All our activity is designed for, and with, the communities in which we work in. Community organisations are at the heart of our operations and we are passionate about audience inclusivity, as exemplified by our adventurous and accessible programming, and pioneering work within the community.
Our innovative mixtape albums, which present an eclectic range of styles and often blur the lines between genres, have achieved over 14 million audio streams globally. Delivery of activities for people living with dementia, visual impairment, mental health issues and a range of disabilities, affirm the profound therapeutic power of music. Our regular family concerts, school and university workshops offer us the chance to explore and create fascinating musical experiences for new generations.
Eckehard Stier
The German conductor Eckehard Stier is known for his stylistic versatility, outstanding musicianship and convincing artistic vision. He is currently Principal Guest Conductor of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania. Previously, he was Music Director of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in New Zealand for seven years and, between 2003 and 2013, General Music Director of the City of Görlitz and Chief Conductor of the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie.
Eckehard Stier has performed with orchestras such as the London Symphony, the London Philharmonic, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Melbourne Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. He has conducted more than 80 orchestras on 4 continents over the past 30 years.
He has worked with soloists such as Alina Ibragimova, Cloë Hanslip, Nicolas Altstaedt, Kirill Gerstein, Cédric Tiberghien, Andreas Boyde, Nikolai Demidenko and Raphael Wallfisch.
His most recent successes on the opera stage include performances of Giacomo Puccini's Turandot at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania. His music theatre repertoire includes over 90 works.
CD recordings and film music have been released with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, among others.
