Info for Poem
The album “POEM” is a musical journey inspired by Nature and Time, often overlooked in today’s world. Comprising original solo guitar compositions, each track represents a verse of a poem written by the composers themselves. Together, they form a unified narrative, inviting listeners to escape into different landscapes and scenarios, broadening their perception of time and space.
Originating from the serene island of Holbox off the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, where time loses its conventional meaning, the album captures the tranquility and well-being found in nature’s embrace. Through the natural tones of the guitar, listeners are transported to imaginary or real places where they can experience a sense of calmness and peace, allowing themselves to be carried away by the music.
Francesco De Grazia, classical guitar
Arielle Krebs, classical guitar
Francesco De Grazia
Wanderer guitarist from Italy throughout Mediterranean landscapes, Francesco is a polyhedric composer and producer. His art and heart stay at the crossroad between traditional classical guitar and new sound experiences, crafted through a fresh approach and continuous exploration.
Francesco initiated his career by immersing himself in the study and mastery of classical guitar in Italy and Spain. He cultivated his skills as a solo performer and within chamber music ensembles. Recently driven by the passion to create his own music, he began composing for the guitar, resulting in three albums dedicated to this instrument.
Arielle Krebs
French guitarist, composer and visual artist, Arielle started her musical career as a classical guitarist and concert artist in chamber music, playing concerts in theatres throughout Europe.
Alongside her guitar journey, she discovers a strong passion for writing music and decides to focus on developing herself as a composer. She works on a variety of projects, ranging from original guitar music to experimental audiovisual productions.
Having lived in cities such as Paris, Rome, Seville, Barcelona, and Madrid, her creations are inspired by the diverse places, travels, and encounters with like-minded musicians and creatives she has experienced. Her music is characterised by a unique aesthetic and an imaginative world that is ever-changing and evolving.
