Jeff Lorber will release his new album “Elevate ” feat. Erick Walls, David Mann, Cornelius Mims, Gary Novak, Mark Lettieri, Randal Clark, John Robinson on August 23rd, 2024.
Elevate is Jeff Lorber’s 31st album and his first full album for SRG Jazz. Elevate is also a rare, complete solo effort from Jeff. With the help of some of the best jazz musicians in the world, including Erick Walls, Mark Lettieri and Brian McKnight, Elevate is a classic recording from one of the godfathers of contemporary jazz.
Jeff released his first album with his group, Jeff Lorber Fusion, in 1977. The group would later add a young saxophonist Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, who later became better known as Kenny G.
He comes to SRG Jazz with his legendary status already cemented, but still with a lot more to say. Overall with his bands and solo, Jeff has released dozens of albums and singles over the last 40 plus years. Jeff is currently wrapping up his new album which will include interesting and surprising collaborations.
