Aufbauend auf dem Engagement der Deutschen Grammophon für neues Repertoire präsentiert “XII” die zweite Edition einer Reihe von Stücken, die das Potential dazu haben, sich aus der Masse der monatlichen Veröffentlichungen herauszuheben und sich auf einflussreichen Musik-Streaming-Playlisten ein Zuhause zu schaffen. Ihre Komponisten, frei von starren Genregrenzen, spiegeln die Vielfalt der zeitgenössischen klassischen Musik wider.
Die Project “XII” 2020 enthält Werke wie das eindringlich schöne “Influences” von Gavin Luke, Angus MacRaes “And Forever”, das Stück “Falling Colour” des des Komponisten-Duos Vanbur und eine Komposition aus Moog-Synthesizer und sanftem Piano von Brambles “Mists Inhabit This Place”.
